I mean it’s a damn Barnes & Noble and not a small business like I’d like, but the small bookstores in my town are used-only and romance-only respectively so if I’m going in for something specific or in a genre I actually like then they’re not reliable

I will be searching the used bookstore, Barnes & Noble got me fucked up with their prices. Made even more annoying by the fact that they’ve got a buy one get one half-off sale going on, but it only applies if both books have the sticker. But I wanted to buy the first 2 books in a series, and only the first one has the sticker, so I would’ve had to pay full price for both, even though the one without the sticker is already the more expensive one so applying the sale wouldn’t even be unreasonable.
