Real question, if billionaires are all evil according to I’d say most democrats I know, why is tom steyer the current lead for the Democrat governor nominee?

It’s moreso the fact that I hear the premise that you have to do something inheritly corrupt or evil to actually become one to which I say why should they become our leader?

I mean two things can be true. There is no way to ethically become a billionaire and yet ppl are capable of changing, evolving, and betraying their class. I’d much rather have a billionaire who betrays the other ultra rich and implements progressive policy in power than someone from the middle class who would rather protect the status quo and become operatives of billionaires who want nothing to change.
