Idk the mongols did more to collapse Islamic science than Christian’s did, and Christian’s took the mantle of scientific progression afterwards. More like if Christianity lost its political power in the 1600s

Honestly it is an interesting thought, would this be a world without any religion or just no Christianity

I never knew Christianity was responsible for not needing to make HALO rings to stop the Flood.

Honestly a world without the Great Awakenings. Most of Christianity’s worst effects on the worlds, especially the ones still ongoing today come from the development of distinctly American forms of protestantism, the adoption of millenarianisms and other stuff life that. There are tens of millions of Evangelicals and it’s essentially a death cult that demands the literal blood sacrifice of every Jewish person in order to cause the second coming/rapture (this is literally why Christians support

Yeah i think it’s a very interesting historical question, ignoring this whole original meme which isn’t accurate. I think some sort of semi-monotheistic faith would have taken over the Roman Empire eventually. It just seems like that’s a global trend, what with Buddhism, Islam, Zoroastrianism, Manichaeism, and Bhakti Hinduism all experiencing their own evangelical spread.

I feel like it would have been some sort of Neoplatonic faith, maybe one linked to the Parthians. Kind of like Manichaeism but without the influence of Christianity. Then again, Christianity kind of came out of nowhere so it’s hard to guess what might happen.

As an evangelical I can tell you we do NOT want a blood sacrifice of anybody 😭the only blood sacrifice was Jesus when He died for our sins to save us from ourselves and so that anyone no matter who they were could be free with Jesus!!
