As a Jewish person, our scriptures and tradition are kinda one bit purity test. Torah is literally given because we are a chosen people expected to be more pure…thats what Kosher is for example. Pork isnt bad or evil, but its not pure.

It’s interesting. Like being tikkun olam being a light and following, the Commandments definitely require some degree of purity, but that is from the faith itself, not every other human being expecting us to be a certain way

I think so. But mainly from the right wing, expecting black people to act a certain way. The left, when it comes to POC only, is very accepting of any behavior, ideology, etc
