Voting for anybody based on race is racist

enemyofmyenemy

The implication that you can’t be democratically represented unless you can vote for and elect a party of your own race is racist

Bro trying to offset the white over representation in our federal gov isn’t racist. Or at least not in the way that most people use the term. This is like saying dei is racist. It’s sets up an impossible situation where any attempt at addressing the impacts of systemic racism are denounced as racist. How can we ever approach the issue?

Idk it’s gotta be something else, when I think of racism, to me it imply some sort of hate. If you vote for someone who’s black just because your black, your just voting for someone who’s black because your black or vise versa for any race

I’m a white guy. If I voted for a white guy because I didn’t trust any other races would that not be racist?

If you didn’t trust any other races that I would say is racist. If your just a white guy voting for another white that’s just you voting for someone white
