Talking to leftists is the fucking worst because u could say something like “I think we should do something about trans people getting killed in the streets” and they will just say “we can’t worry about that yet because we need socialism first”

This always bugs me a lot because often those leftists can do a decent-to-good job of explaining how capitalism fosters hate and discrimination but have no real answer for why their preferred post-revolution brand of leftism would be immune from those problems. Like yeah dude I agree capitalism makes people hateful, but I really don’t think if A then B means if not A then not B.
