If you want to collect useless plastic items and useless fidget toys bc you rather gives the big guys your dollar over people who are closer to you on the economic spectrum I believe you should totally do that. like for example i know a lot of people that were/are crazy on the fidget spinners ad pop-its and squishies and shit but will still judge other sensory regulation tools like chew necklaces, headphones/earplugs, sunglasses, self-soothing behavior like rocking, etc
