also, it wasn’t 50yrs, we never had “medieval peasant societies” bc our country came several hundred years later. They went from a largely rural and impoverished way of life to a fast growing economic and technological advanced civilization in that time frame, but guess what? What we’d consider “socialist” ideologies did that, FDR thank you very much😎
