Of course I focus on politics often because simply put, this administration is making life hell for me. Gas is expensive, groceries are expensive, my girlfriend is losing her rights to her own body, my friends beginning to fear discrimination for being LGBTQ+, and even watching my neighbors be killed in the streets or dragged from their homes/cars by ICE. This is not the America I grew up in. Perhaps it wasn’t much better and maybe that’s my privilege speaking, but it was not THIS bad.

Bc I care about not having to spend insane amounts of money for every day things? I’m not shoving it down people’s throats every day but I do focus on politics a lot. It is directly tied to my life in a lot of ways. I didn’t say I’m constantly talking to people about it lol

10 companies have produced 25% of the world’s carbon emissions since the 1800s. My hybrid car that has a eco mode that uses no gasoline isn’t going to change the crisis mega corporations have thrown us into and then decided WE are the ones responsible for fixing it bc WE should change what we do. Their practices make up for the most of it. Iirc there was another study that found 20 companies produce more carbon than 197 countries combined. Also that’s not an option for some people bc of work
