This will be NYC after a few more years of mamdani and socialism. Look what happened to Cuba. It’s not sustainable. Poor, wealthy, black, white, democrat, republican, NOBODY wins under socialism or communism

“Socialism works until you run out of other people’s money” And we’re literally the richest country in the world so I think we’ll be ok for a while

This post is a bit hyperbolic and emotionally charged, isn’t it? I mean I don’t like Mamdani or socialism, but it realistically won’t be as bad as Cuba. This seems unnecessarily alarmist

I don’t want to take the chance. NYC is a great city. It thrives off capitalism and is known as the capitalism city of the world. What do you think is gonna happen when you ban the one thing it’s known for?

Which I don’t want that to happen. I want my kids and their kids, and their kid’s kids to thrive.

How do you “ban” capitalism? On a praxis and policy-making level, the amount of overhaul would be impossible in 1 standard term of office. Mamdani doesn’t have the political strength to become the General Secretary of People’s Republic of New York City without having opposition that slows his efforts. The worst you guys will experience is an increase in social and welfare spending and maybe some minor economic reforms — but def not a grand restructuring of the whole system. You’ll be fine

This would be a valid point if we weren’t in 39.2 trillion dollars of debt under capitalism

Mf I can’t go anywhere without my eyes being assaulted by an ugly ass yellow plate if yall learned how to drive it wouldn’t be as big of a problem. Jersey only exists so nyc has somewhere to put its trash that’s why it always smells.

New Jersey was more important before NYC meant anything. Your success is built on our foundation. We walked, so you can run. We are the garden state, you are the city of mole and rat people in your tunnels. Don’t talk to me about drivers, half of them work in nyc and only live in nj because it is cheaper than the city

When we started walking yall stopped running and got put in a wheelchair. And you’d figure with being the garden state and all yall wouldn’t smell so bad. Theres a yellow hue over jersey like a bad anomaly but it’s just stank. I’d rather rat people in our tunnels than peds like in LA so I’m not worried about that. Question, were yall taught to drive under the speed limit and left lane camp? And even you admit the only reason to live in Jersey is to commute to this great city
