removing people’s bodily autonomy is bad, and requiring a woman’s husband to approve of her getting tubes tied or a hysterectomy (for various medical reasons) is CURRENT standard operating procedure.

Endometriosis, where the tissue that’s supposed to grow inside the uterus instead grows on the outside of it and spreads to other organs, it’s extremely painful. Removing the uterus or even just a tube tie can completely resolve these complications.

That seems ridiculously painful. We should have more investment into women health research to cure these diseases. Is endo similar to pcos? One of my friends has that

I agree! There should be more investment into it! Its not the same as pcos but sometimes the same treatments can be applied. The issue is that women’s health is not taken seriously and issues are dismissed until it is too late and the only option is a hysterectomy, which again requires many hoops to jump through to be allowed
