Opposing race-based districting isn’t Jim Crow. It’s in line with the text of the Constitution. That you want certain races to have guaranteed electoral outcomes is anti-democratic. It’s sick.

These states voted over 40% Republican yet have zero Republican representation in Congress. That is the result ofGerrymandering. That’s not racism against white people, that’s just Democrats stealing positions. If not, the states would have at least some Republican representation, not zero

And both parties do it but the Democrats are significantly better at it. Any independent analysis shows that

What do you think about my comment about the New England states? I don’t think it’s really a color thing up there either, it’s a democrat versus Republican. Do you think there should be zero Republican representation in those states?

Gerrymandering has long been practiced by the Democrats. It’s been unwound by the Republicans, it’s not racism

If you gave a fuck about gerrymandering, you’d be discussing how it’s been a given amongst both parties, however only one party refused to outlaw it within congress. stop running propaganda for white supremacy, which is exactly what you’re doing right now.

It’s terrible when people look at everything through the color lens. The devils in the details and it’s not as simple as one party refusing to outlaw it. I go with my original comment, Democrats have had the advantage for years and Republicans are pushing back finally. It’s not white supremacy. Grow up

Which party voted against the bill to outlaw gerrymandering? and yes, it is white supremacy when you weaponize gerrymandering to create pure majority white districts while destroying diverse ones. Surely it’s needless to even bring up the gutting of the voting rights act, and how justice Thomas even stated that the original interpretation providing equal voting representation was a mistake?

It’s terrible when you’re called out for your prejudice, isn’t it?

I think the original race based districts are what we’re being unwound. I’m not sure why you think racism in One Direction vs the other is a good thing. Prejudice? I don’t think so, common sense

Okay but the point is they want to bring all types of Jim Crow laws back which if your know your history was to stop black representation and basically keep black people out of voting and basically segregation soo Jim Crow laws are bad and still racist

Susan Collins is a senator, not a congressperson, further proving my point. Still zero representatives. I’m not going to say something insulting like “Come on now, use your brain”, but I will ask if you think it’s possible that Democrats have manipulated all of us, and since l emotions are stronger than facts, it’s easier to think “racist” and have an emotional response versus a fact-based response?

There are 21 members of the House of Representatives from New England. And not a single republican despite strong down ballot Republican votes, and about 40% voting for Donald Trump. Not a single republican district is a statistic anomaly. Both sides gerrymander, but Democrats are far more aggressive about it. And it’s not about race with less than 3% of these states being black, it’s about how the party and complicit media manipulate emotions to get congressional votes.

Finally, my parents were hard-core Democrats until recently, as was I. It wasn’t just suspending reality by things like telling me a guy is a girl, not just a guy dressing up like a girl and wanting to be one. It was when I took a psychology class and understood manipulation, how strong emotions can overcome the facts and how the media in particular utilizes emotion. It takes effort to find the truth, but once you realize they lie to us and manipulate us,

It’s easier to detach from the emotions. That’s why they get away with all of the fraud. We should all be mad about it but because it’s our side we go after the people exposing the fraud. No, while it’s not my tax dollars, if I ever graduate it will be and I don’t want to go to support the rampant fraud. we should all be mad about how these politicians have stolen from us. All I’m saying is that I used to think like you so I get it. But corrupt politicians suck and I’m out of this thread. Peace

I had one final thought. I feel betrayed by the Democrat party and just like when a girlfriend or boyfriend cheats on you, you’re never the same. You look at them differently. What I used to think was OK, or I overlooked stuff I knew it was wrong, I no longer do that. They want me to hate other people but I’m not gonna do that. I’m going to look at the issues, the facts, and

You’re right, they usedJim Crow laws to support racism. No question it was wrong. I don’t think that’s what this is despite politicians saying it is.
