How is he a problem? It seems a little bit discriminatory to have an upper age limit for congress instead of basing things on merit

Because they just stay in power until they get too old, then find a replacement, then throw their supporters toward that replacement . It’s literally been consistently happening for decades, and Bernie isn’t innocent

Bernie isn’t choosing anyone to take his place. He just endorses candidates he likes and gives them publicity so the American people can make their own decisions. So yes, it is still merit based.
