Yeah anarchism is kind of self defeating in the way it leaves a power vacuum to be filled by whoever. Minarchism on the other hand can be extremely useful for determining what the government does that is necessary and what is wasteful

I wouldn't necessarily consider myself either but I do think that our government is incredibly wasteful and in some ways outright evil, and that simply wanting less of that waste and evil can be a good thing.

I think anarchism is better as a starting point than an end goal, typically speaking most anarchist were tied to other movements (Socialism being the most widespread)

No, what I meant by my comment is that anarchist are typically acting on behalf of an ideology that isn’t always seeking an end to centralized power but rather a rapid change. Many socialists, communists, and even fascists movements used a similar idea with the “General strike” or a strike of all labor and bureaucratic (white collar) positions to hopefully stoke a revolution an a seizure of power. Anarchist just take the easy route by causing general disarray to hopefully (in their eyes)

I like to judge people on what they believe in, not what they call themselves. Otherwise I would have to consider the Nazis as socialists in the same sense I would consider these "anarchists" as anarchists
