The scandal isn’t that they signed a pact to avoid getting invaded but that they secretly divided up Poland and invaded alongside the Nazis. On different fronts but at the same time.

The pact wasn’t a betrayal, the nazis we’re invading Poland regardless of if the USSR signed the nonaggression pact. Better than letting the nazis take Poland entirely.

It’s valid because it was the only option, the alternative was doing nothing while Germany takes all of Poland.

You have to ask yourself why Hitler would sign this deal if it keeps Poland safe. Are you sure they aren’t better off going the UK/France route and guaranteeing Poland, that would skewer the Nazi with a two front war if they ever invaded.

They moved the Jews east because they wanted settler colonists for the eastern frontier and yes also a desire to create a stable Jewish oblast for their benefit. But just ask the Korean, German, Greek, Chechen, Ingush, Tatar, Norwegian, Finnish, Turkish and other minority inhabitants of the USSR who were mass deported and had hundreds of thousands die in the process. They can tell you how much Stalin cared about the wellbeing of ethnic minorities.

This objectively didn’t happen under stalins time. Read Stalin on the national question and actual policies of the USSR

The Nazis committed genocide on Polish jews. The Soviets denounced antisemitism. I’d rather the Soviets occupy than the Nazis by far
