Why didn’t the founding parents include a constitutional mechanism for citizens to recall elected officials, once they realized they’d been conned?

We need to implement one. I fully believe the president should have instant impeachment hearings and or a snap election if approval drops below 20%(?). For congress it should be if a majority of their district calls for one or similar.

It would be incredibly difficult to get a constitutional amendment to implement a recall vote process because all the currently elected politicians know that if they did they would be out of a job within the week

That’s less likely than congress impeaching him imo unless we can get a rift to form and Vance to do a soft ‘coup’
