The Dems really aren’t going to do anything to stop the republicans. Useless party.

What’s the point of even putting it to a vote in the first place if the wishes of the citizens are going to struck down & overturned.

What a dumb complaint. This is a perfect example of Democrats actually doing something, and your only response is “do something”

When did I say that? She should push back against it or do what Ohio or what the republicans have been doing & that’s just ignore their ruling. It’s obvious voting isn’t the solution. If the people feel like they have 0 democracy then violence will become inevitable.

Explain what type of pushing back you’re looking for. Because they are preparing legal council right now. I understand that when people feel unrepresented that things get violent, but that doesn’t mean that it’s the direction politicians should steer things.

Did you read what I said? I never said she should call for violence so idk why you keep trying to make that point. The Democratic speaker of the house said they will respect the decision. Governor Spanberger said she’s disappointed but her focus is on November. They should say no they don’t respect it & will ignore it & will instead support the will of the people

Right, because other people are already appealing. I’m really not sure what’s wrong with this. You said the speaker of the house said they weren’t going to do anything, when the opposite is true.

You’re right the Supreme Court will fix this. My bad for not trusting process & our courts. Dumb of me to say they should act like the republicans & just ignore it.

Just ignoring it only works for republicans because the courts ignore when they do it

I mean if voting doesn’t help because the results will be overturned, & ignoring it doesn’t work because the courts only allow republicans to ignore rulings. Then what do you think will happen & should happen?

I think if people handle it violently, the. that’s what happens. But as far as what politicians should be doing, they need to keep their hands off of that.

Again I definitely don’t think our politicians should be advocating for violence either. I just think they are better off ignoring it like the republican states and forcing the courts to come after then putting their faith in the Supreme Court although they could honestly do both
