Can’t even respond properly… Do you know why, when studies on crime are conducted, specifically looking at the crime rates of illegal immigrants in the country they ignore the “crime” (which fun fact isn’t even actually a crime for the majority of “gotaways” it’s actually only a civil violation that is comparable to a parking ticket)? Coming here and committing violent crime, property crime, etc. Everyone already understands the “crime” they committed smart one. So do you have anything intelligent to add, like a study showing that illegal immigrants commit more domestic crime than US Citizens do per capita? Fun fact, the vast majority of drugs smuggled are by US citizens. Another fun fact, US Citizens commit more crime than immigrants including illegal immigrants per capita. If the issue is crime then I think we should focus on overall crime not specifically the population of people who less than half as likely to commit that crime. According to peer reviewed studies. You want to deport illegal immigrants that come here and commit violent crimes? Sure, I’m all for that. But I don’t see the point

No. I don’t think so. I’m not going to argue with people who think illegal immigration isn’t a crime. I don’t care if you want to call it a civil infraction or ticket (it’s far worse these people don’t pay taxes and are a net draw on state welfare benefits). Having conversations with people who live in information bubbles is just not worth my time.

I literally never said it wasn’t crime. I said for the majority of illegal immigrants (people who overstay their visas) it’s considered a civil infraction. Which is literally by law not a crime, it is a civil violation. Google is a free resource I would encourage you to use once in a blue moon…

That’s not “just who we know of” that is literally their “estimation” as it says. Also, the US Census Bureau doesn’t collect information or track information on immigrant’s legal status at all😂
