From an unbiased perspective, I genuinely don't understand how Trump hasn't been impeached. Watergate seems like nothing in comparison to what Trump has done in his presidency. This is a serious question; how does he get out of it?

Congress is full of incompetent and power-hungry fascists and half of American voters are ignorant pieces of shit

trump didnt get elected because he has a normal base; everyone there works on double standards - if trump does it, its great or you dont understand so its great, if someone else does it theyre fucking evil/stupid/whatever

Take a look at his loyalty tests which require his underlings to deny reality for him, either explicitly in writing on the application or rhetorically in the lies they peddle. Trumps government (majority of congress and Supreme Court included) serves him, not the American people

I was in fact asking to clarify what thin Trump has done more in likes with Nixon’s actions. In my opinion he’s more in kind with Clinton. (Ironic, I know)

Most current democrats don’t actually want to do anything. They want Trump to do bad stuff so that they have the talking point to use.

Nixon had some people working for his re-election campaign steal documents and spy on the DNC headquarters in order to give him an upper hand in the upcoming election. They got caught, Nixon tried to cover it up, but the media released everything before they could. Nixon nearly got impeached but resigned before being convicted.

I don't understand how he's managed to garner such an undying cult-like following unlike any other politician. He's not likeable, he's just a straight up shitty dude most of the time, so why do so many people worship his every move?

because they can relate to being shitty most of the time. he's dumb and hateful in the same ways they are. it really is just tribalism - but they don't understand that they're not on his team because the real deciding factor is class/wealth
