
people are so focused on making this a Black vs. disabled issue (when those two communities are not mutually exclusive) and completely ignoring that the bbc CHOSE to air that while cutting "political speech" such as opposing genocide. also nobody is listening to Black ppl with coprolalia and it's driving me up the wall)
so the movie that had won best leading actor was the movie about tourettes... and the guy that movie was about was the one who had the tic saying the n word. ive seen like 2 clips from that movie. one of them was a court scene where that guy was testifying and could not get through the oath because he called the judge a variety of names and it was explained he often involuntarily says slurs (racial/homophobic, whatever) i mean. its fucking tourettes. the whole thing is its uncontrollable
oh no yea the bbc (pretty sure thats who it was) is completely awful. there was absolutely no reason for them to include that other than to enjoy the spoils of drama that theyve quite literally ensured exists, so its manufactured to an extent. all the while they gotta hide any political messages they dont like. stupid fucking money game.
