I most certainly did not. But to clarify, the message is: “Minorities should arm themselves and maintain loose militias like the Black Panthers in order to resist oppression”.

that makes more sense, but that definitely could be seen as “disobeying” or being “defiant” and give the far right more ammunition to insult minorities, unfortunately.

Well, yeah. But the far right doesn’t need an actual reason to hate minorities. They’ll push that rhetoric regardless. You can’t use pacifism to defeat an enemy willing to use violence.
