Maybe the issue is a lot of boomers are named Jean/Jeanie/gene and they don’t understand that gene isn’t their long time friend from high school

Pretty sure the studies that suggest a causal effect accounted for this. Unfortunately it’s near impossible to do a fully double blind randomized trial here.
