He was accused of blasphemy and breaking the sabbath, although Christian’s will of course hold that “He held the spirit of the Sabbath law” and “He is God” I mean objectively he was probably killed mostly for political reasons. Stuff like opposing paying taxes to Caesar, etc.

The Romans executed him for treason and insurrection. He caused a disturbance during the politically volatile Passover festivities, preached about the coming judgment, and may have secretly taught that he himself would play a key role in this coming kingdom. Thought of himself as king of the Jews. Difficult puzzle to entangle what is actually historical from theological agenda.

Synogauge and yeah they were using the temple, to make themselves rich off of people trying to be faithful to God basically think indulgences or TV preachers. Technically he did break some laws which is biblically ok if those laws are in direct opposition to God.
