well there was a guy who went to a town hall with a traffic ticket from an AI system that said he was running a red light when he was in a completely different state at the time. he has to prove that he’s innocent instead of the gov’t accepting that the AI was wrong.

To build on this, the AI basically immediately throws out a “guilty until proven innocent” scenario so you could in theory argue it wasn’t a fair legal trial

just kinda sucks that they’re forced to either pay the fines or go through a trial over a traffic infraction in another state from where you reside, in addition to the potential example being made of that trial and the corporation behind the AI camera trying to maintain their credibility & power… just a crazy legal slope that we’re treading lately with all this shit.
