Dog I’m literally right here… disagreeing on one issue doesn’t mean they’re not left wing. Liberals tend to lean towards mixed economies while leftist chose the dismantling of capitalism. The key difference is liberals want to progress within the system while leftist want to progress through an overhaul of the system.

Liberals are conservative in that they preserve the status quo, yes. They are to the left of republicans, but they are a right wing party if you look at their politics from a global perspective. This is common knowledge outside of the US

This is US Politics, not global politics. Don’t move the goalposts. In the United States they are a left wing ideology. And they preserve the status quo from an economic standpoint(mostly) but not from a social standpoint.

Woah woah, are we talking about democrats or liberals here? ICE was started by Bush Jr. TSA is good, just ineffective in its current form. Hamas and Hezbollah are terrorists groups by definition and not the US definition the international definition. Communism is a matter of perspective but in general is a far left authoritarian ideology which doesn’t align with America’s founding values. Borders serve a security purpose.. you can’t just remove them
