You know what makes people want to bear children? Bodily autonomy. No woman wants to get pregnant if her state won’t allow for an abortion even in dangerous cases. By banning abortion, you are creating the circumstances where woman say “nope I’m not risking that shit” Also not to mention that the working class is getting poorer, people have to work multiple jobs now, and other factors that discourage childbirth. And if you cared about the lives of children, you would be advocating for gun reform instead of banning abortion, which objectively hurts more children (specifically those who are victim of rape). To be honest, I think when a fetus becomes a child is a matter of personal belief that the government shouldn’t have a hand in If you want to believe life begins at conception, that’s whatever. But that belief (almost always based on religion, let’s not kid ourselves here) should be separate from government, because we have a separation of religion and state. And due to that, I don’t believe abortion should be banned, because it would be crossing that line
