Biden was surrounded by competent people, and could be trusted to make reasonable decisions. Trump is surrounded by bloodthirsty Nazis, and his decisions are informed mainly by a desire for perceived “revenge”.

The only reasons anyone thought Biden was in mental decline were 1) right wing press clip chimping him in a way that made him sound completely senile. Quite often when they did this he was talking about something senile Trump had said in his first term, but out of context it seemed like he was losing it. 2) his stutter came back. Biden is the most legislatively successful President since the end of the Cold War, maybe since Nixon, and if it wasn’t for inflation and a cold he’d still be there.
