First, just know it's very unlikely that $5K in real. Not only is the proposal illegal, but Trump has made promises like this in the past and it never happened. But even if we supposed it was possible, keep in mind Trump and the GOP had lowered the corporate tax rate more than Democrats and has pushed for regressive taxes. Regressive taxes harm those of us who make less money and/or rent instead of buying a place so voting for the GOP is supporting the wealthiest in the US.
