CNN reporting that the two people shot in Portland by ICE were husband and wife. Husband shot in the arm, wife shot in the chest. They found out their marriage status before reporting on their citizenship. they are DEFINITELY citizens

Can we consider the fact that the hospital or local police has no clue what their citizenship is but knows their relationship (e.g. same last names)

The husband called the police himself. He was conscious, alert, and talking. The hospital knows.

Also, they’ve been in the hospital for multiple hours now. Shooting didn’t just happen - the reports are just coming out within the last hour

Personally I don’t think an hour is very long 😭 and the hospital is on lockdown (apparently) so idk if any reporters can get in. I just don’t like jumping to conclusions so quickly. It’s easily possible that they’re legal residents but you never know

Nonono, you misunderstand. The reports ABOUT the shooting are less than an hour old. The shooting itself happened at 2:18pm pacific. They’ve been in the hospital for MULTIPLE hours now
