I think one of the best ways to tell if someone has a lower iq is if they strip any nuance away from a topic and then call other people low iq
I think one of the best ways to tell if someone has a lower iq is to ask them if its cheaper to eat out or cook your own food

This isn’t a nuanced issue though

If you’re a single person cooking for one and you want to have something good and different every night, it’s definitely cheaper to eat out. You don’t spend time cooking or driving around for groceries and you don’t have to worry about anything going bad. Obviously it’s cheaper to eat spaghetti 7 days straight but a lot of us don’t wanna do that

As someone who lives along, none of that is true. It’s significantly cheaper to cook for yourself than to eat out, and yes it’s still possible to have diverse meals.

I live alone and cook. You can make individual small meals (it’s easy to grill one burger or boil a small thing of couscous) or you can cook larger meals but alternate between them every day. I shop ingredients in bulk, and when needed I just freeze stuff so I can use it all over the course of months (I have massive bricks of frozen cheese)

For my groceries I hover somewhere between $50 and $100 a week, more if I want to splurge on some more special foods.
