Good luck with your revolution, comrade.Right, because liberals have been oh so effective for the last 30 years. They totally haven’t accepted the right wing framing on every single issue and aided in the rightward shift of the overton window to the point of playing directly into the fascists’ hands. Liberals have held more power than leftists, sure, but what good is that when they refuse to wield it against the Right?
Talarico has to win the general AND he has to govern. I don’t get how you guys rejoice when “your candidates” who run under the DEMOCRATIC PARTY win and haven’t even had enough time to actually do anything. It’s completely unfair for ANYONE to judge Mamdani this early. He needs a year minimum and 2 years max for long term policy promises.
It does matter. You guys loooooove when I go at conservatives hard as fuck, but as soon as I turn on leftists who don’t do anything other than criticize Dems while also screaming how they’re not going to vote, you guys start getting assmad. Just like the Dems, you’re not immune to criticism ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
I just said that there was a leak suggesting that Kamala Harris lost because of her stance on Gaza. You disagree. That implied Kamala’s stance on the conflict does not bother most Democrat voters. Her stance is pro Israel, so that would make their voters…? What would that make them? You got this bud
The “leak” was made by the IMEU, a group that supports Palestinian rights and aid. Forget party alignment or whoever you support. Matter of fact, if you can’t, we can play a hypothetical. If a group called the Project for Israel came out and said that Democrats met with them and they told Axios that the Dems lost because they didn’t support Israel hard enough, would you believe that?
The claim made by the IMEU states that Dems LOST THE ELECTION because of Gaza. As of right now, there’s no autopsy that’s been released to state that fact, just the IMEU saying they MET with Dems and they said that. No evidence, just hearsay from a group with an ideological bias. I’m hesitant to believe ANYTHING like that and the fact that you aren’t says more about you than me.
My opinion, which is just from what I’ve seen and heard, is that Gaza, didn’t mean fuck all to the American people. What mattered to them was the economy and immigration. You somehow can’t separate ideological views and political analysis for whatever reason. I could be wrong on Gaza, but again, I’ve seen ZERO FUCKING EVIDENCE to suggest that Dems lost because of it.
And it’s not about burning bridges, it’s about trying to orientate the political conversation in their favor. They benefit from Democrats, who are weak right now, facing the fire in hopes that they can get the Democrats to switch their position. There’s nothing wrong with that and no one here said there is.
