Before J6, it was actually requested by capitol police for national guard aid on the property. Pelosi denied the request, allowing the protest to turn violent. However, Trump never called for violence. He called for a march, and extremists in the group thought it was time for a raid. It never would have happened had Pelosi allowed the national guard there. Also this was 6 years ago. Nothing even remotely similar has happened since then perpetrated by the right. Will you guys use J6 forever?

Gas is actually getting cheaper since its peak in May, and it is lower than the peak under Biden in 2022. I don't want gas to be expensive, but given that blue states tax gas far more than red ones, I would say they have way more power than they claim over prices. The cheapest states for gas right now are NC, GA, TX, SC, TN, IN, LA, MS, AL, AR, MO, KY, OK, KS, OH, in that order.
