He’s not a groyper, just an apolitical guy who’s pro-trans rights bc of his trans roommate supposedly, that’s the most likely motive although it’s hard to trust the Trump administration’s narrative on anything so I get it

Tbh I wish ppl would stop repeating the “he’s a groyper” thing because the evidence doesn’t actually indicate that. He was a fairly apolitical dude with a lot of queer people close to him. Like I thought it would die down a few days after the shooting but I guess people just haven’t checked to verify.

Like the far right are overwhelmingly more likely to commit political violence. But the evidence just doesn’t really indicate he was that. I’m not saying Patel’s story is true either. But claiming he’s a groyper is just kind of wishful thinking that isn’t really supported by the evidence.
