RIP to all victims, Palestinian and Israeli alike. They’re all victims of shitty imperialism and theocracy.
Still RIP to the victims of October 7th

I also want to remind everyone of the ghettos that African Descent Jews live in, Israel claims to support all Jews, but they systemically and intentionally separate, isolate, and abuse Jews who don’t fit the Zionist image. In reality, being any sort of brown in Israel makes you a target, leaving many people without power. We cannot keep acting like Palestinian and Israelis are equal in power, arms, and violence. They are not. The deaths on both sides are tragic, but more Palestinians have died.

Yeah, well Israel is Germany in this scenario, they built the ghettos, they’ve raped and pillaged the communities, they’ve hunted and slaughtered civilians, they’ve enforced a supremacy mindset.

And actually, more Soviets died in WWII, so there’s that.

That’s not in question. You said one side is more tragic because they had more deaths. Were the German deaths more tragic because there were more?

I did not say that. More Palestinians have died so that proves that one side has more power and always had, you can’t keep believing Palestinians are equal in any form to Israelis bc they have been stripped of their ability to be so. Germany actually had power, get a fucking grip.

Germany arguably had more power and yet they lost more lives. The victor always has less deaths, that’s how anything works

In your scenario, Germany having power would somehow lower their death total. It didn’t. Palestine having more power would only result in the deaths of more Israelis, not less Palestinians

You just keep proving how your example was fucking wrong in the first place. You seriously need to get a grip and become educated on what is going on. You will not be reaching salvation with these ideas.

I’m not sure if you’re familiar with the concept of consistency, but my example in the first place was applying your logic to another example. Who gives a shit about salvation, I’d rather live in reality than fantasy

You are using bad faith. And you keep proving so. You do not live in reality. You know what you’re doing is wrong, you have to live with that. I know you’re miserable.

What is bad faith about seeing someone use logic that is not used consistently and mentioning it? Again, id rather be miserable than delusional

Youre not using logic if it’s bad faith. You don’t know anything. You’re delusional and obviously undereducated

Yeah and ad hominem is such good faith, sure. I presented what I read as your argument back to you. If that’s bad faith then look in the mirror

your entire argument flew out the window when you claimed that the victors “always” suffer less casualties, ignoring the bloodiest and best studied war in human history. it’s not an ad hominem to insult you… you *are* an idiot! an ad hominem would be claiming your argument is invalid because you’re an idiot

I was very clearly talking about civilian deaths of Nazi Germany vs the Western Allies. Why would we be talking about total deaths?

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough when I first stated it lol, but the goalposts certainly haven’t changed. Body count =/= proportionality

Ethnosupremacist. Half of Israelis are Jews whose families immigrated from other Middle Eastern countries and Netanyahu's biggest base of support is from brown Jews specifically. Ben Gvir is an Iraqi Kurdish Jew.

No offense but this is an extremely ignorant and American take on the situation. This conflict has very little to do with white/brown racial hegemony and more to do with Jewish hegemony over indigenous Arabs. The bulk of Israelis are Middle Eastern Jews who are mostly indistinguishable from the local Palestinians except in language and dress. The elite are indeed mostly white, but the biggest supporters of supremacist parties and ethnic cleansing tend to be brown Israeli Jews.

But let’s know pretend like that’s bc those people are treated equally as white Jews. Bc they’re not. Sure there’s more of them, but racism is still a major problem, and they still treat brown/black Jews different that other Jews.

There are minor tensions between Ashkenazi and Mizrahi religious groups, but I would not say that brown Jews are discriminated against at scale in modern Israel. That does not even seem remotely true tbh. As for Ethiopian Jews, absolutely. But they make up a very small percentage of the Israeli population, and do not seem to hold any less anti-Palestinian sentiment themselves. I don't see how this Western racial perspective you're projecting onto them is relevant in understanding Gaza.

I don’t think you’re being as honest as you think. There’s definitely a divide between brown/black Jews and white Jews. This has been a thing Israel has tried to hide for a long time. I wouldn’t believe anything coming from Israel about these issues or anything an “Israeli” says about their culture. Unless you live there, and if so, I don’t think I trust your judgment and opinion either.

I don't have any reason to lie to you OP, I'm not Israeli nor Jewish nor a sympathizer, just someone who's been studying the issue for a long time. These are just the conclusions I've drawn from watching Israelis argue with each other and reading books, articles, and anonymous testimonies. Foreign wars and genocides do not correspond as cleanly to our own social conflicts as everyone likes to assume. But you have the right to your opinion even though it's wrong.

Sure, I’ve studied it too. That’s why I have this opinion, bc the truth is, it has been proven and is noticeable in their society. Now, you’re right, it’s not as clear as it is in the west, but it’s there, and is something that cannot be denied, is all I’m saying. They treat different ethnicities differently, and different Jewish groups differently, and white Jews def are treated differently by the state.
