Rape is rampant in indigenous communities but our government doesn’t want to put in the resources to stop it from happening (almost as if our country started with the genocide of their people)

You arent wrong, but with the fucked up way we set up our legal systems and how they coexist with tribal courts, most people who rape indigenous girls totally get away with it and probably aren’t included in this statistic. All that said I would be unsure about any rape stats just due to the overall lack of reporting
