Idk. When I hear people talk about how “Israel is really pulling the strings” it feels to me the same as saying “there’s a secret cabal of Jews controlling the world”.

They’ll be one sentence away from copying a 4chan neo Nazi post verbatim and when you call it out they’ll hit you with a “if you can’t separate Israel and Judaism that’s you’re fault and you’re actually the antisemitic one” ok fam can you?

that is what they’re saying. “israel” is an extension of the American empire. anyone saying otherwise is intentionally misleading you

If you can’t tell the difference between “there’s a secret cabal of Jews controlling us” and “the Israeli government has an incredible level of control over American politicians” then you have the reading comprehension of a 3rd grader.

No seriously. Like they get 95% of the way there then when im like “hey as a Jewish person you’re being kinda antisemitic” then I’m a “Zionist” which is just becoming a term for Jews they dislike

Fr. We can VERY EASILY discuss the harm of Zionism and even its global implications without sounding eerily close to “Jews control rent prices and the exchange rate of gold”. It’s not even a fine line. It’s a massive mile wide difference here. Why are you balancing it like Nick Wallenda tightroping across the Grand Canyon?

Have you ever considered maybe you’re just feeding into antisemitic conspiracy theories?

Anti Israel ≠ antisemitism It is not antisemitic to point out that we give Israel billions every year and they use that same money to swing our elections and buy our politicians. It's all verifiable fact. Cope harder

Yes, but using antisemitic tropes in the process IS bad. And they don’t buy our elections. That’s just false.

Are you gonna be pedantic and try to say that AIPAC isn't directly beholden to Israel's interests?

It’s not pedantry to point out that Israel isn’t spending money to control our elections.

If we give the money to Israel… and Israel gives it to their lobby groups… that's what's happening. And your bias is showing. Get blocked, Zionist

Not a Zionist. And Israel isn’t giving the money to lobbyist groups, that’s just a lie. Are there Americans (mostly Christian nationalists) advocating for Zionist interests? Yes, 100%. That is very different from Israel controlling our elections.

The Israeli government having incredible influence on our elected leaders isn’t a conspiracy theory, it’s an observable fact.

Israel didn’t exist in the 30’s, so no the Nazis weren’t saying that Israel had power over their leaders.

Influence? Absolutely. But it’s not bought, they already are willing to listen because of their Christian nationalism. That’s the point I’m trying to make. Implying “the Jews are buying them” is what I’m calling antisemitic. I’m not denying that American politicians are very willing to listen to Israeli interests.

Nazis didnt talk about Israel. Maybe if Israel would stop training our police and soldiers and developing weapons for them and buying our politicians and elections, etc… Like why is Israel our only ally that we have laws against boycotting?! Like bro are you walking around with your fingers in your ears?! They don't even try to hide it!

If it’s not bought, how come the most rabid supporters of Israel have all received millions from AIPAC? As a thank you? Get real, they are so clearly bought.

Nobody is saying they’re bought by Jews, we’re saying they’re bought by the Israeli government. That’s a huge difference.

AIPAC money doesn’t come from Israel, it comes from Americans. Just like any other PAC, which exist for basically every issue there is.

i mean tbf, the zionist entity historically, and today, is largely funded by the American project. entities like the Jewish National Fund derive most of their funding from donors in the US, because of this, israeli organizations have a vested interest in encouraging international investment. “israel” quite literally appeared into existence after zionist settlers were granted a guarantee by the british. their funding did not appear indigenously. that’s not how colonialism works

Election finance laws are terribly written, there are so many loopholes that allow both corporations and foreign nations to donate money without revealing themselves.
