It’s kind of the inverse of what the meme insinuates; wealthier areas tend to vote democratic and poorer areas tend to vote republican as a result of their current wealth. Wealthier states tend to have more college-educated voters than poorer states, and one of the strongest predictors of how an individual is going to vote comes down to education. The best example of this is California, which went from being a Republican state to a democratic stronghold in the 1980s. Another good example is-

If blue states are so great then why are people leaving blue states in droves and coming to red states? Is it because they love the culture, no it’s because of affordability, cost of living is lower in red states compared to blue states. I actually agree with universal healthcare and would love to see red states do that though that will never happen.

Note, I am not a Republican and I voted for Harris, I’m just pointing out that states that already have poor education access and dependence on agriculture tend to see “Republican” voterbases as a result of those factors, not the other way around.

I have been respectful this whole time pls try and do the same. So you agree with me that they have higher crime rate right. We are talking about why people are moving to red states, do you think crime rate has nothing to do with this conversation? I never said population density has nothing to do with crime rate. They have more income and a higher cost of living. If you look at real personal income you see that overall money goes further in red states compared to blue states
