i saw a usa figure skaters broke in half and other ppl from other countries have had theirs detach from the ribbon by jumping in celebration lmao. theres like 5-6 instances ive seen online of athletes reporting their medals breaking or falling apart🥴

and ik they’re not the real thing. they have to pay too much get the box and real medal and stuff. but still, they shouldn’t just fall apart so easily. they got the best athletes in the world temu medals, thats crazy💀

i saw a couple athletes talking about that but i cant find anything to substantiate it. its like any awards show allegedly from what i’ve heard, you get a general medal at the ceremony, but to have it engraved and get the nice box it comes in to display, u gotta pay for it. but also they get paid by the govt for winning so its probably not that big of a deal to them if true

and if the medals they get at the ceremony are real… gold medals are supposed to be gold plated sterling silver…that doesn’t just crack bc it hit the ground lmao. so sb is lying but we’ll probably never know who
