This stupid Anti-Vaxxer just compared the Tuskegee study to the Covid vaccine 💀
The government locking me up for speaking on the Tuskegee Syphilis Study because some idiot wanted to give them the authority to decide what is and isn’t misinformation

I was talking very broadly about vaccines in general lmfao what, I never once said they were bad, I never once said I don’t believe in them, and I never once mentioned Covid anywhere in your screenshot. I don’t trust the government to police speech, that was really my only point in this

So why did you mention withholding holding a vaccine?

Because that’s how placebo trials work bro holy fuck. The entire controversy around the Tuskegee experiment is that a placebo trial was ran without informed consent.

Are you just saying that might happen with vaccines? that’s what I’m curious about.

Go look back at the post I was quoting. I was making the point that allowing government to legally punish people for spreading antivax shit is stupid. Because the second they actually do something unethical, which has happened before, they would use that power to prosecute anyone who called them out on it. I used the Tuskegee experiment as a parallel because it was a big-name example, and they 100% would have abused such a power back then to cover their asses if they had the ability to.

Sure I think the confusion is people are just mixing you up with anti-vax guy. I agree with you for different reasons that banning certain speech would be bad.
