Much less invasive of a scale but they’re doing the same thing with foods, they’re introducing QR codes This means that you can track down the origin of epidemics easier. for example, which supplier gave that diarrhea lettuce could be an easy fix. But it gives like way more profiling to companies who can see who buys what food.

I ageee it’s a bad thing guys I’m just saying that’s the rationale behind going from barcodes to QR codes, mass surveillance with a possibility if tracking food outbreaks or recalls quicker

Sure. For food and diseases that’s great. Not for people, it causes no harm by tracking food and making sure it’s coming from safe places. The government tracking normal people, especially with the administration we have right now that locks up people for joking about Charlie Kirk, will cause harm and is a direct show of authoritarianism
