exactly! i wasnt even able to vote yet and lil ass me was STILL saying this in 2016. clocked it immediately! like dawg why are we acting surprised? performative af as there werent like a FUCK TON of scholars, economists and every day people including literal children (me) saying this was what was gonna happen for the last DECADE. like i just get so mad
