Maybe ice is just doing a job. Maybe these people shouldn’t be here illegally. It’s almost like we have laws that need to enforced. It’s almost like the leader of the executive is in charge of enforcing laws.

Idk we have different views. There’s a small amount of people that come over the border to commit violent/organized crimes and there’s people that need to investigate that. I read a book called Hidden Girl in which this girl was trafficked from Egypt to California and she was ultimately saved by HSI (a branch of ICE). ICE can be used for good, but sadly it isn’t

My point is that we don’t need these massive institutions of state enforcement and surveillance to fulfill the rare cases you’re talking about and we certainly don’t need ICE, given we didn’t have them until 2003 and low and behold we still had a country

Violent and “rogue” drug dealers and criminals who are here illegally are rare. Human trafficking is obviously a separate issue but acting like ICE is the only way to stop that from happening is like saying we can only use a handgun to heal a bullethole.
