It’s anti-AUTHORITARIANISM. Since when Orwell wrote it the biggest totalitarian state was the USSR, there’s references to communism. But it was never about the financial system. It was always about the governments themselves

I can see it being as such, but people here still use it to look down upon socialism and communism.
