ehhhhh they just started debate, the resolution hasn’t actually passed the senate yet Plus then it needs to go to the house. And if it passes there Trump will veto it but this is still a big deal bc it means there are repubs on the record against this

it was 52-47 and they only needed a simple majority. the house majority is even less so it should hopefully pass. the veto will go back and while it might not get a 2/3 vote, it exposes the intentions of many GOP members.
