At what point would you support sending American troops to Iran? What would Iran need to do? Are we already there?

Not troops. We can decimate their defense infrastructure without a single American boot on the ground. Bring about regime change by force will only result in the exact same problems we saw in the GWOT, amplified exponentially.

Only if they god forbid do some kind of terror attack on the homeland, and only if it is PROVEN beyond a shadow of a doubt, and they admit they did it

We occupied Iraq, we occupied Afghanistan. We implemented measures intended to improve their economies and turn the countries western-aligned with higher qualities of life. At the end of the day, the problems go so far beyond anything we can handle with simple force or diplomatic effort
