Our land is sacred and a big part of our identity. I’d say a majority of Republicans (especially the super rural types) understand that, it’s just they’re too ingrained in the culture war and “climate change is a hoax” claim to realize that Trump is letting their land be destroyed by businesses.

Not actively but yeah. I come from Wyoming and there are an abundance of conservation-minded republicans. It’s just they don’t trust the science when it comes to climate change. They’re not deliberately advocating for the destruction of our environment, most of them are genuine good people that are just misguided when it comes to certain policies
