You government regulations to prevent that stuff from happening. The surveillance state is mostly perpetuated by corporations not the government

Yeah but our taxes already pay for roads now. If they want to stop funding highway funds with tax dollars and switch to full tolls, then do it. But don’t say taxes will fund it then try to squeeze us for a bit more through tolls.

Toll roads are typically not primary funded by taxes What they do though is they use the fees from every other toll road to pay for the new ones they’re building. So you’re not paying for your roads toll, you’re paying for ALL toll roads basics

Yes, today I supposedly have taxpayer funded roads while also having to pay a toll almost every day I go to work. If it’s funded by taxes stop charging tolls.

There are no tolls in my home state plus if you privatize the roads now every road will have a toll not just a select few and the tolls that already exist will be raised because the owners of the roads need to maintain them without taxpayer money and they need to turn a profit

This will also make literally everything more expensive because it will significantly increase the cost of transporting goods up and down the supply chain
