I don’t even know what crap “mainstream media” even says, I get maybe 5% of my news from there and usually it’s stuff I’ve already known that they are just now covering

Mostly independent journalists and some networks like Dropsite. Guys like Geopoliticaleconomyreport tend to have good info as well. Obviously every source will have a bias and you can detect their opinions, but I find them more reliable than CNN, Fox, MSNBC, BBC, etc
