yeah idk how this is a left vs right issue i feel like no one wants these especially everyone i talked to in my personal experience and it has nothing to do with political beliefs

It’s split there’s not a left vs right thing people on both sides support it or don’t. I’m a socialist and I support the technology itself I don’t hate ai, I don’t like the current state and whose in control but in my ideal future AI would be used a automation tool for labor allowing for more voluntary labor by workers letting people do whatever

And would allow for large scale global tasks that humans wouldn’t be able to efficiently do such as energy production, medical research, infrastructure that would minimize environmental impact etc. again don’t like the ai companies but I think we would need a government that’s not controlled by corporations and then publicly controlled ai with regulations, I don’t think we need to be able to make anime girls for example
