It irks me when people refer to flock cameras as “license plate readers” because it’s such a gross understatement about what they’re actually doing. They’re tracking your face, your gait, every detail about your vehicle, and creating a map of where you go

And not accurately btw. They’ve sent hundreds of people to jail for crimes they didn’t commit due to a mistake on the ai’s part :)

Cops are finding out they are being watched as they use or abuse the system in droves. It’s building a data map of internal corruption in local/state PD’s as well. I find that to be very poetic.

They found like dozens of searches for “lmao” And then flock changed it to a dropdown which honestly just makes it easier for a cop to just pick a random valid sounding reason

I can leave my phone at home, and there are many more legal hoops that you have to jump through in order to get that information.
